Evan completed his initial massage therapy training at the Sebastopol Massage Center in 2014. Later he committed to The National Holistic Institute’s 800 hour program to further his studies and graduated as a Massage Therapist and Health Educator in January of 2023. He did his externship with us here at Massage For Athletes and was then hired upon graduation. He is a wonderful contribution to our team! Evan is proficient in Swedish, relaxation massage, reflexology, and trigger point therapy, and specializes in deep tissue and sports massage.

Anne Marcalo has been a Massage Therapist since 1985, living most of her life in Sonoma County. Early in her career she worked as a massage therapist on cruise ships. Later, she became certified to massage horses. Anne has also been a flight attendant for the past 29 years, retiring in April of 2021, and simultaneously worked part time as a Massage Therapist at an athletic club. She has studied Orthopedic Massage Therapy with James Waslaski CMT CPT (a pioneer in the field of pain free, manual therapy). In 2014 she also became a Certified Essentrics Instructor and has taught classes, helping clients heal, re-balance, lengthen, and strengthen. Anne graduated from University of California, Davis with a degree in Dietetics. Her past sports included USVBA volleyball, and equestrian dressage. Angela is a graduate from Bryman College. She completed her initial studies in the fall of 2005 for Massage Therapy. She takes the extra time to get to know her clients and designs an individualized massage plan to work on areas of complaint as well as other areas they might not have realized needed extra attention. She has worked on all body types from athletes at all levels, the aging population, clients with specific injuries and/or diseases, pregnant women, office workers, and the general public for relaxation. Her main massage styles blend techniques used in Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point and PNS.

Alicia is a native of Santa Rosa! She is a graduate of the West Coasts most comprehensive massage therapy program, National Holistic Institute. In addition, she furthered her education in Advanced Neuromuscular Massage Therapy. Alicia’s passion is helping people and getting results.
